Last night's sonic boom drama in the skies above Doncaster has got the whole town talking.

The massive "explosions" at around 9.45pm were heard across a huge chunk of Yorkshire - and were caused by two RAF Typhoon jets being scrambled to intercept a civilian airliner that had lost radio contact.
