A ‘pink army’ of charity fundraisers took on the 5K Race for Life in Rotherham.
Women descended upon Herringthorpe Stadium in their droves for the popular event in support of Cancer Research UK.
Runners donned pink T-shirts, wigs, tutus and other novelty accessories for the friendly event, which was open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
Many of the participants were running in memory of loved ones who have lost their battle with cancer.
After an energetic warm-up, women –along with some young boys and dogs – set off on the five-kilometre route, with supporters cheering them on along the way.
All money raised goes towards finding a cure for cancer sooner.
