The event was organised to celebrate a successful 2015 for the company and featured food and drink, an aerialist show, chocolate river and waterfall and competitions to win prizes.

Hundreds of Amazon associates attended the event at the Doncaster Dome, which was organised by the site’s executive assistant Teresa Mitchell and operations admin Bob Stray.

Site leader Nathan Fetherston said: “2015 was another great year for Amazon in Doncaster and we wanted to reward our teams with a special party to say thank you.

“It was fantastic to bring the teams from our two Doncaster sites together for the celebrations and we all had a brilliant time at the Willy Wonka-themed party at the Dome.”

Party guests were greeted on arrival at the Dome by an aerialist dressed in a candy cane outfit, performing a 20-minute show. Willy Wonka and his candy cane ladies on stilts then welcomed the guests to the chocolate room, which was decorated with lots of giant lollipops and candy canes.

Following drinks and dinner, guests enjoyed magic performed by Willy Wonka, rock & roll bingo and a golden ticket-themed game to win prizes including TVs and Kindle devices.

A music performance later played to end the fun-filled evening.
