Image Musical Theatre Company brings The Railway Children to the stage on Saturday July 2, based on the famed children’s story by E Nesbit. The show includes an interactive workshop, giving the whole audience a chance to join in and some children the chance to play a role in the show.

In October Blunderbus return after their packed show The Owl Afraid of the Dark last year with Dotty the Dragon, an adventure told with songs, music and puppetry – there’s even a life-sized dragon! This is part of the Get Creative Family Arts Festival.

In December APL Theatre push aside the coats and step through the wardrobe into the fantastical land of Narnia in CS Lewis’ timeless tale, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

This is The Montgomery’s second-ever Christmas offering for Sheffielders who are looking for an alternative to the usual Christmas pantomime.

Last year’s show The Snow Queen was a sell-out.
