Severe delays expected as all traffic stopped on Yorkshire motorway due to crash

All traffic has been stopped on a Yorkshire motorway after a collision - and drivers are being warned to avoid the area.

Traffic has been held on the A1M northbound between Junction 37 and Junction 38, just north of Sprotbrough near Doncaster, because of a collision.

Delays are expected and anyone travelling is advised to avoid the area.

Just a few weeks ago, a smash on the M1 motorway led to drivers being held on the road for over five hours. More to follow.
