Rotherham mayor set to judge postcard painting competition

The Mayor of Rotherham is set to judge entries in a postcard painting competition.

Mayor Councillor Lyndsay Pitchley, accompanied by her uncle, Alex Armitage are set to attend the competition which is being held at Talbot Lane Church inMoorgate Street, Rotherham.

The pair will judge a Postcard Painting Competition and award prizes to the winners, at 2pm on Saturday, June 11.

Entries will be on public display at the Art Exhibition at Talbot Lane Church, which is open from Saturday, June 11 between 10 am and 4.30 pm and Sunday , June 12between 2pm and4.30 pm.

The Art Exhibition will also include live painting demonstrations.

Entry is free and there will also be refreshments available throughout.
