Revealed: The 10 best GP surgeries in Doncaster as rated by you

Our list of 10 GP surgeries across Doncaster have been ranked, based on the percentage of patients likely to recommend the practice.

The information comes from responses to the GP Patient Survey, sent out twice a year to around 1.36 million adults registered with a GP in England.

During the survey, patients are asked ‘Would you recommend your GP surgery to someone who had just moved to the area?’

The scores for this question are grouped into three ‘bandings’

* ‘among the worst’ - these are scores in the worst 25% of all scores nationally;

* ‘in the middle range’ - these are scores that are in the middle 50% of scores nationally;

* ‘among the best’ - these are scores that are in the best 25% of scores nationally.

The Doncaster Free Press has ranked the GP surgeries in terms of recommendations, within a ten mile radius of Doncaster town centre.

The Burns Practice scored first and second place in the survey with its Doncaster and Cantley surgeries while Bawtry and Blyth Medical took third spot.

The Kingthorne Group Practice also got its two surgeries in the top ten.
