Recruitment open day for new Rotherham waste facility

More than 800 people attended a recruitment open day for a new waste treatment facility which is being built at Manvers in Rotherham.

Around 40 jobs are up for grabs at the plant which will treat leftover household waste from Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster instead of it being sent to landfill.

The £750 million development will be commissioned early next year and should be fully operational by July.

It is being built by 3SE.
