A RAWMARSH man is one of three males set to appear at Sheffield Crown Court this week following a series of robberies.

The local trio appeared at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court last week, after being linked to shop robberies in Rawmarsh, Treeton, and Kimberworth Park.

Detectives investigating an armed robbery at Treeton News on April 6 believe it to be linked to similar incidents at Booze Barn, Rawmarsh, on March 30 and the Ring O’ Bells chip shop at Kimberworth Park on April 3.

Jamie Parkhouse, aged 20, of Barbers Avenue, Rawmarsh, and two 17-year-old youths from the Rotherham area, have been charged on suspicion of conspiracy to rob.

They were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court this week.
