Rail site help for passengers


COMMUTERS will be offered more information about their train journeys following the launch of a new mobile website.

Rail operators East Coast has unveiled the service for mobile phone and tablet users where they can access station information such as opening times, plan their journey, get live travel information and details on any delay as well as the ability to save ‘favourite’ journeys and personalise travel plans.

Train bosses said the mobile site was created following feedback from rail passengers.

Mobile phone and tablet users will be automatically directed to the new mobile site when they log on to East Coast’s website.
