Quiz the Police and Crime Commissioner candidates at South Yorkshire hustings

Candidates seeking to become the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commisioner will face questions from the public at two hustings due to take place in South Yorkshire this bank holiday weekend.

Two rounds of hustings are due to take place on Monday, May 2

All five candidates for the South Yorkshire PCC election are set to attend the hustings.

They are as follows:

* David Allen - English Democrats

* Alan Billings - Labour

* Gavin Felton - UKIP

* Joe Otten - Liberal Democrat

* Ian Walker - Conservative

The event will be chaired by Nadeem Murtuja, and members of the audience will field questions to the five candidates. The candidates will then be given an opportunity to respond.

The first hustings will be held at the Unity Centre, St Leonards Road, Rotherham, starting from 2.30 pm.

People will be registering from 2pm onwards. This hustings will conclude approximately 4 pm.

The second hustings will be held at the The Trade and Labour Club, Frenchgate shopping Centre. 19 South Mall, Doncaster commencing 7pm, people will be begin registering on the day from 6.30 pm. This Hustings will conclude approx 8.30 pm.
