More than 80% of people in Doncaster village demand no deal Brexit
More than 80% of people in a Doncaster former mining village have demanded a no deal Brexit, according to a poll.
Community Facebook page Askern Photo Page ran a vote on Brexit, asking page users to have their say.
The poll gave voters three options – leave now, another vote on any deal (with the option to remain) and ‘I really don’t care!’
83% of the 265 people who took part in the vote demanded the UK leave immediately with no deal while 14% (37 people) wanted another vote on any deal.
Nine people (3%) opted for the ‘I really don’t care option.’
Doncaster voted by 69% to 31% to leave in the 2016 referendum.
