Police seek thug over racially motivated attack in Doncaster

An e-fit has been released of a man police want to trace over a racially aggravated attack in Doncaster.

A 40-year-old man was attacked as he was walking home from work along King Edward Road, Thorne, at 10pm on Friday, December 18.

Two men followed him and made racially abusive comments, before one of the men punched the victim.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The victim suffered serious facial injuries and required hospital treatment.

“Despite extensive enquiries, no arrests have been made.

“Do you recognise the man in the e-fit? Did you witness the assault?”
