PC’s Stephen O’Callaghan and Ashley Taylor were on patrol on Beetwell Street when they saw the 50-year-old looking unwell

They changed his position to help him breathe and called for an ambulance.

“If we had not have spotted the man sooner, the situation could have been much worse and I am only glad myself and PC Taylor were able to support him whilst waiting for proper medical attention.

“This man is now in the right hands in hospital and it is a relief to hear his condition has improved.”
