Police launch appeal to find missing Doncaster teenager Frankie Leigh Turton

An appeal has been launched to track down a missing Doncaster teenager as her family grow increasingly worried for her safety.

Officers are urging the public to help them trace missing teenager Frankie Leigh Turton who was last seen at around 9.30pm last night on the Trans Pennine Trail, close to York Road.

Her family are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the 14-year-old.

Frankie is white, 5’10”, of slim build and has long brown hair.

Frankie is believed to be wearing black denim shorts, a black crop top with gold chain detail and white Nike air force trainers.

The Trans Pennine Trail is a long-distance path running from coast to coast across Northern England and the Doncaster stretch is popular with bikers and walkers.
