Police have today found the body of a woman in a Doncaster field.

The body was discovered on waste ground off White Rose Way, close to Potteric Carr Nature Reserve at around 2.10pm, as part of an on-going large-scale search.

It is believed to be missing Doncaster woman Magdalena Charciarek.

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “While formal identification is yet to take place, officers believe it to be missing Doncaster woman Magdalena Charciarek, aged 27.

“Ms Charciarek’s family have been informed.

“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

“Our thoughts are with Ms Charciarek’s family in this difficult time and we would like to thank the public for their continued support.”

Polish national Ms Charciarek was last seen on September 30.

She had come to the UK to visit family and seek employment.

Police searched the Potteric Carr nature reserve last month as they tried to find her.
