Police arrest man in connection with robbery at Doncaster beauty salon

Detectives have today arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with a robbery that took place at a Doncaster beauty salon on Tuesday evening.

Officers were called to reports of a robbery at a business in Intake at about 6pm on Tuesday.

It was reported that a man entered the Skin Sanctuary in Sandringham Road before pushing a member of staff to reach the till.

A quantity of cash is said to have been stolen in the incident before the man left on a mountain bike.

A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident today.

Owner of Skin Sanctuary, Jane Angus told The Free Press that the member of staff pushed during the robbery is now 'doing okay'.

She added: "If anyone does know anything, can they please contact the police."
