Police appeal after man found dead at home after Doncaster area road collision

Police have launched an investigation after a man was found dead at home following a Doncaster area road collision.

South Yorkshire Police s Serious Collisions Unit is appealing for witnesses to the two-car collision in Maltby, last week.

At around 2pm on 8 April, a red Volkswagen EOS and a black Land Rover Discovery are reported to have been involved in a collision on Blyth Road.

The driver of the Volkswagen, a 73-year-old man, was sadly found dead at home on 10 April after his family became concerned for his welfare.

A spokesman said: “We are urging anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward and speak to us. If you hold dash cam footage or CCTV, or witnessed either vehicle prior to the collision, please get in touch.”
