Planning application for 30 new homesunder consideration

The plans are currently under consideration for the development on land to the north of Thorne Road, Sandtoft opposite the Reindeer Inn pub.

The scheme would include 10 per cent of affordable homes if given the go ahead.

Residents wanting to have their say on the proposal can submit comments to North Lincolnshire Council by February 8.

A Planning and sustainability proposal submitted alongside the application said if given the green light the development would help boost the region’s economy.

The report states: “Sandtoft is an attractive place to live and has potential to host more housing development and a larger labour supply. This would enable it to contribute more strongly to realising the region’s economic potential.”
