Photos shown scene of devastation after three car collision on major Doncaster road

Carr House Road has been closed following the incident earlier this afternoon.

Details of the incident are still coming in but it is understood that three vehicles have been involved in the incident outside the Tasty Wok Chinese takeway near the road’s junction with Danum Road.

Unconfirmed reports say that a BMW and Audi were two of the vehicles involved in the collision, which has also demolished a tree on the central reservation.

South Yorkshire Police have confirmed that officers are at the scene dealing with the collision and said that one vehicle appeared to have collided with the central reservation while another had crashed into a tree.

The road will remain closed while investigations are carried out.

Due to the coronavirus lockdown, the road was far quieter than usual at the time of the smash.
