It has since been shared hundreds of times across social media.

The caption reads: "Anyone missing a leg in Doncaster last night?"

The photo has been shared more than 4,000 times with jokes from commenters about the owner getting "legless" on a night out.

However, the Facebook page is populated with other spoof photos from across Yorkshire and it is not clear when the photo was taken or if the un-named pub is in Doncaster.
