Person hit by train near Sheffield causing disruption to services
A person has been hit by a train near Sheffield this afternoon, causing disruption to train services.

ast Midlands Trains has revealed that the incident has happened near Dronfield, causing disruption to trains between Sheffield and Chesterfield and on trains from Sheffield to London St Pancras and Sheffield to Liverpool, Nottingham and Norwich routes.
The lines are currently closed.
All trains can not pass between Sheffield and Chesterfield unless they are diverted.
If you are travelling on the routes affected there will be disruption for the next one to two hours. Trains are being diverted between Sheffield and Chesterfield with extended journey times of up to 20 minutes.
