Women’s refuge handing out ‘Buddy Bags’ to children escaping trauma

A worrying effect of the Covid lockdown has been the rise in domestic violence, and as a result the Doncaster Masons chose to donate £5,000 to The Buddy Bag Foundation for the town’s Victoria House, a women’s refuge.

The money was used to provide for children who find themselves in emergency care after a traumatic incident.
