A string of shows at The Dome scrapped due to the coronavirus crisis have been rescheduled, bosses have announced.

The venue scrapped all its concerts and shows between March 16 until the end of June after the Government’s lockdown to beat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now many of the shows have been rescheduled and are set to take place later this year or early next year.

Here are the new dates for the cancelled shows:

Chris Hone, head of commercial development for Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust said: “We are working with promoters and will contact all ticket holders in due course to inform them of the rescheduled dates. If customers are unable to make the rescheduled dates, our team will be able to talk through the options in respect of transferring tickets or processing refunds.”

“We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but these are unprecedented times and for the safety of our staff and customers we must follow the advice from Central Government,” he added.

Other shows also due to take place between March and June included 90s Dance Anthems Live, the Grimethorpe Colliery Band, ISing 2020, the Aurora Fashion Show, Stamp Magic, Opera North and the Joe Longthorne Songbook.

No dates have been organised for these shows.
