Tributes after death of popular and well-known former Doncaster market trader

Tributes have been paid following the death of well-known former Doncaster market trader.

Tony Robinson ran a habadashery stall on the market for many years and died earlier this month at the age of 81.

An obituary said Mr Robinson had passed away at his home in Balby with his son and daughter with him.

It described him as the ‘beloved husband of the late Phyllis, loving dad of Delia and Andrew, dear father in law of Andy and a devoted grandad of Amy, Ben and Harvey.’

It added: “Tony will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.”The funeral service will take place at Rose Hill Crematorium on April 19 at 1pm.Due to current Covid restrictions a maximum of 30 people only are allowed to attend.Family flowers only by request but if desired donations may be made to the Bransbury Horse Rescue and Welfare or Mayflower Sanctuary,A collection box will be provided at the crematorium.
