Travellers leave popular Doncaster park

The group Friends of Sandall Park confirmed the group of around a dozen caravans had left the park today, warning ithat the areas where they had camped needed cleaning up.

A spokesman for the friends group said: “The travellers have vacated the old golf course. Please avoid the area where they have been camped until it has been cleaned by the council.

“Thank you for your patience.”
