A runner is training for her first marathon in aid of memorial gardens at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Bassetlaw Hospitals.

Jade Ackerman, 28, will run the London (virtual) Marathon on October 4 in and around Sprotborough where she lives. She said: “I am raising funds for the Rainbow gardens for loved ones to visit and remember those they have lost during the pandemic to Covid-19. “
