Popular Doncaster park cafe set to re-open to customers next week
A popular Doncaster park cafe will re-open its doors to customers next week.
Sandall Park Cafe will be back in business from June 22 following closure during the coronavirus lockdown.
A spokesman for Friends of Sandall Park, the volunteer group which looks after the park said: “Good news for cafe followers - the park cafe will be opening opening six days a week from Tuesday.”
The cafe will be closed on Mondays. However, this may change as time goes on.
It added: “They will be opening at 9am and closing times will depend on how busy the cafe is. If it's busy they may stay open, if it's quiet they may close. It's very much a 'play it by ear' scenario to see how things pan out.”
The cafe is set to be replaced in the coming years by a brand new mult-million pound restaurant and bar area which will be built in its place and will overlook the lake.
