Police are searching for a missing woman who left her home yesterday morning and has not yet returned

A 54 year old woman left her home yesterday morning and has not been seen since – police are asking for anyone who sees her to get in touch.

Margaret Warren went missing yesterday, May 29.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Margaret left her home in Wath upon Dearne at 10.43am yesterday.

"She was then seen walking down Pontefract Road and turning right in the direction of Manvers Lake at 11.30am.”The 54-year-old was reported missing to police when she hadn’t turned up at work at 3pm yesterday.

“Margaret is around 5ft 7in tall, of medium build, with large tattoos on both forearms.

"She was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt, dark blue / black skinny trousers and nude sandals.

"She is also believed to be carrying a small black backpack.“Have you seen her? Please contact us on 101. The incident number to quote is 730 of 29 May.”
