Pint offer for Doncaster lads who cleaned up litter strewn seaside resort

The pair have been offered a pint for helping to clear up rubbish dumped on Cleethorpes seafront.

Launching an appeal on Facebook to find and thank the pair, Simon Fig Fountain wrote: “If anyone is on any Doncaster pages or has any Donny connections can they please give a big shout to these two lads who helped me clean up all the cans and bottles left by all our scruffy locals in the Pier Gardens.

“Fifty minute drive to Cleethorpes for a bit of fun in the sun and they end up tidying up after the locals.

“Let me know when you are back here lads and I'll buy you a pint.”

The gardens, on Cleethorpes’ Central Promenade are a popular spot for visitors.
