'Minute's noise' tribute and memorial ride for biker who died in Doncaster crash

Bikers will come together this weekend to stage a memorial ride and minute’s noise tribute for a dad who died in a Doncaster road smash.

Karol Radkiewicz, 32, died on April 12 in Edlington Lane, Old Edlington after he was hit by a car travelling in the opposite direction.

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drink or drugs.

A fundraising page has already raised over £1,000 for his family and members of Rotherham Riders motorbike group will stage a tribute to him this weekend.

Riders will travel from Wickes in Canklow, Rotherham to the crash site where they will pause for a minute’s silence before a minute’s noise, where bikers will rev their engines to pay tribute to Mr Radkiewicz.

More than £2,000 has already been raised for Mr Radkiewicz’s family in the wake of last week’s tragedy.
