Robyn, who works on the hospital’s surgical unit as a health care assistant, wrote on Facebook: “I’m not crying, you are.”

“It’s gone quite viral on my work page so I posted it to Facebook. I work for DRI and I think the poem really reflects how it’s affecting not just adults but kids too.”

When this is all over....

When this is all over, I'll get to see my friends,

Lockdown will be over and the happiness will never end.

When this is all over, I'll get to go swimming,

I'll splash in the pool, our smiles will be brimming.

When this is all over, I just won't be blue,

Because life will be better and I'll get to see you!

When this is all over, we can travel abroad,

Think of the fun we'll have with all our family aboard!

When this is all over, my heart will be full,

Each day will be beautiful, not lonely and dull.

When this is all over, I'll get my mummy back,

No more extra shifts means my heart won't be black!

When this is all over, I'll go to the park,

My tears will stop flowing and I won't feel in the dark.

When this is all over, the world will feel safe,

No more worrying each day, we will finally have faith.

When this is all over, our NHS can rest, Their battle will be won and they have finally finished their quest!

When this is all over, we will sit and reflect,

How not all of us made it, we will show our respect.

When this is all over, our heads will be held high,

We will all be together and will salute to the sky.
