The heartwarming reason a Doncaster restaurant is giving up its Christmas decorations this year

Brazilian restaurant Estabulo Rodizio Bar & Grill in Doncaster said the money they would have spent on Christmas decorations would instead be used to help those in need.

The restaurant explained why they gave up their yearly traditions on a Facebook page posted earlier this month.

It said: “You may be wondering why you have not seen any Christmas decorations up in our restaurants this year.

“That's because here at Estabulo we have decided to use the £2,500 we would have spent on decorating our restaurants with festive cheer, doubled it to bring the total amount to £5,000 and donated this to a local homeless charity.”
