Doncaster's annual Christmas panto postponed to 2021 because of coronavirus

Doncaster’s annual Christmas pantomime has been rescheduled to 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Aladdin was due to be staged at Cast from the end of November, but like the rest of its shows and productions, all performances have been axed by theatre bosses.

A spokesman said: “If you booked for 2020, your booking will have been transferred over to a new date and you will have recieved an email from us about this.

"If you haven't, please get in touch with us.

The show was scheduled to run at the theatre in Sir Nigel Gresley Square from November 26 until December 31.

The venue has been badly hit during the Covid-19 pandemic, with no live shows since March, when lockdown was first introduced.

Several shows have been cancelled totally, others have been rescheduled to fresh dates while some are still waiting to be moved to alternative dates.
