Doncaster to be turned into giant murder mystery game as 'killer' goes on loose

Amateur detectives will have their work cut out next month – trying to track down a killer on the loose in a giant murder mystery game played out across the streets of Doncaster.

Teams of sleuths will be bidding to track down The Doncaster Ripper as part of an interactive adventure game.

The event, organised by CluedUpp, will take place in Doncaster on May 8.

Players will have to solve the case of The Ripper, a crazed killer loose on the streets of the town.

A spokesman said: “The words "The Ripper" strike fear into the heart of every detective.

"Now it seems that a new Ripper is on the loose and three men have already been murdered.

"Can your team of detectives scramble across town, solve the clues and crack the case before The Ripper strikes again?”

Tickets cost £36 per team of six people with players using an app on their phones to play the game.
