Youngster Jayden Robinson is still a schoolboy, but has already set himself a profitable sideline as a vlogger with thousands of subscribers and an annual income in the region of four figures.
The 16-year-old from Hatfield, due to be sitting his GCSEs this summer before the coronavirus closed schools, has people hanging on his every word when it comes to the video game Minion Rush. He has been vlogging for four years, starting as a hobby.

He said it was quite difficult to make money from posting videos online.
“You have to edit, or pay someone to edit for you, record, script, publish and set up monetisation,” he said. “It really is a struggle at times. It isn’t really a job for me as I can only make £80 at maximum a month out of it. For me its more the enjoyment I get out of it.
“In my videos, I usually discuss the mobile game Minion Rush, as I have become one of the most well known players in its small yet sophisticated community.

Minion Rush was Jayden’s favourite game when he was younger but he now prefers ‘storytelling’ games like "Detroit: Become Human", and also plays games like Fortnite and Warzone in his free time.
He has been one of the best in the world at Minion Rush, claiming world record holding high scores in 2017.
Some of his most recent posts have seen him interview the actress Ava Benevente, who voiced one of the game’s characters called Meena, and Carl Vaudrin, composer of the game.
