Doncaster store staff do a sponsored walk and litter pick to raise for a children's charity

Workers at Auckley’s Spar decided to carry out a sponsored walk and litter pick around the village yesterday (May 30) in aid of the NSPCC.

Team member Wendy Smith said: “It was a very productive morning with lots of rubbish bags filled.

"We started at 10am and finished roughly around 1pm.”

Volunteers were store manager Chris Pearson, area manager Carolyne Barker, assistant manager Brett Hughes and team members Wendy Smith and Ellie Carr.
