Doncaster Minster opens up for mourning of Prince Philip

Doncaster Minster has opened its doors today for people mourning Prince Philip to light candles.

The Minster announced on its social media page: “Remembering HRH Prince Philip: if you wish to safely pay your respects and light a candle on Saturday April 10 we will open from 9am until 6pm.

It was announced yesterday that the prince had died at Windsor Castle at the age of 99.

Flags were being flown at half mast at venues including the Manion House.
