Kylie Jobes, aged 31, and Aaron Smith, aged 27, of Branton, are among hundreds of people who have had to put their special day on hold as the pandemic takes a hold across the country.
The decision taken is made even sadder as the couple were planning on trying for a baby once they were married.

Kylie explained: “We’d been holding out in the hope it would go ahead but with everything that’s come to light we didn’t have any choice but to postpone.
“We booked it in October 2018 so it's all been planned for ages.
“I wasn’t shocked because there was a build up to it.
“I was upset and it comes in waves, some days I feel worse than others.”

But, thankfully there is a small silver lining as the couple aren’t out of pocket. Kylie continued: “All the suppliers have been absolutely brilliant – we have managed to rearrange the cake, make up, photographer and videographer, the only thing we couldn’t rearrange was the room decorator as they were already booked on the new date.”
One of those really disappointed by the news is Kylie’s eight-year-old daughter Darcy.
“Darcy was walking me down the aisle, she was really upset and it broke my heart.

The couple's honeymoon to Cyprus in June will obviously not be going ahead, and neither will the hen party which was planned for Portugal.
