A Doncaster clothing firm which took on global sportswear brand Nike in a row over and England shirt has now launched its own Pride t-shirts.

Doncaster clothing brand Werkhaus beat the huge firm to producing its own version of the shirt of England Lionesses’ goalkeeper Mary Earps after Nike initially announced they wouldn’t be producing a replica last year.

Now the rapidly rising local firm has unveiled its “Big Love T” to tie in with Pride month and Doncaster Pride, which takes place later this year.

Earps, who played for Doncaster Belles earlier in her career, was one of the stars of the tournament, saving a penalty in the World Cup Final in the 1-0 defeat to Spain and winning the golden glove as the Lionesses’ captured the hearts of the nation.

Launching the shirt, and mimicking Nike’s famous Just Do It slogan, a spokesman for Werkhaus said: "Mary Earps won the Golden Glove.
