Doncaster artist launches 'pint and a paintbrush' pub painting classes

An artist from Doncaster has launched art classes with a difference – by hosting them in the town’s pubs.

Rebecca Wright has introduced her ‘pub painting’ classes to allow people to express their artistic flair duriring lockdown.

And the ‘pint and a paintbrush’ classes are proving a hit with artists of all ages and abilities signing up.

She said: “At Pub Painting, we want to put the fun back into art classes.

"Even if you have trouble drawing a straight line with a ruler, pub painting caters for all levels.

"You will create your own masterpiece in a step-by-step method with one of our talented artists.”

The classes take place in Doncaster, Sheffield and York.

Paint, brushes and the canvas are all included in the price, meaning you'll get to take home your very own piece of art at the end of the night.

Rebecca is also hosting one to one private lessons at Doncaster’s Jazz Cafe.​
