Bars reported a busy night as people headed out for a drink at the end of the nights horse action, and these pictures show smiling drinkers who headed on to Hall Gate after watching the meeting.

Chris O Coughlan, boss of the bar O’Donegans, who submitted the pictures, said: “It was great to have people coming out after the racing again – it’s been a long time.

"We were full inside and out.”
