Community will come together to celebrate key workers and what they have done for Doncaster over the last 18 months

An event is being held in Doncaster to celebrate NHS, Social Care and Key Worker’s day – a special flag will be raised to say thank you for all their hard work.

On July 5, 2021, a group of primary schools and The Markham Main Bank will congregate in the Armthorpe Miners Memorial Garden to celebrate the NHS Social Care and Key Worker Day.

Jackie Palmer, organiser, said: The event will take place from 9.30am and we will be raising a special flag, that Debbie Hayes and myself have raised the funds for on behalf of Morrisons, at 10am.
