Community will come together to celebrate key workers and what they have done for Doncaster over the last 18 months

On July 5, 2021, a group of primary schools and The Markham Main Bank will congregate in the Armthorpe Miners Memorial Garden to celebrate the NHS Social Care and Key Worker Day.

Jackie Palmer, organiser, said: The event will take place from 9.30am and we will be raising a special flag, that Debbie Hayes and myself have raised the funds for on behalf of Morrisons, at 10am.

"Unfortunately it is looking like the social distancing rules will not be lifted, so, even though we would've liked people to come to give support, we would like it mentioned that anyone coming down will need to stay outside the perimeter of the garden.”
