Formed in Newport in 1994, the band have released 10 studio albums, 12 compilations, four EPs, and 40 singles.

All of these have spent a total of 183 weeks on the singles and albums charts combined and they accumulated 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012.

At their peak of commercial success, Feeder won two Kerrang! Awards in 2001 and 2003 and they were inducted into the Kerrang! Radio Hall of Fame on 9 August 2019, for "Distinguished Services to Rock".

Their breakthrough came in 2001 with their third album, Echo Park, and its lead single, Buck Rogers, which later became a UK top five single.

Sadly, tragedy struck shortly afterwards in January 2002 when drummer Jon Lee died by suicide in his Miami home.

However, the band continued and they released their fourth album, Comfort in Sound later that year, which touched on themes such as loss and coming to terms with death, while also exploring themes of positivity.

Tickets are £25 from www.askernmusicfestival.co.uk
