Owner's plea as two dogs and eight pups stolen in overnight raid on Doncaster house

A heartbroken dog owner has pleaded for the safe return of her pets after ten dogs were stolen in an overnight raid on her Doncaster home.

The raiders escaped with two American bulldog-Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed dogs and their recently born eight pups from a house in Balby at the weekend.

Owner Ieva Dambrauskaite said the pups were only two weeks old.

She said: “The white one is female and the chocolate is male.

"The person must have got in through my living room windows.

“It was between Friday night and Saturday morning, the puppies are only two weeks old.”

The dogs were taken from a house in Great Central Avenue.

According to police figures, Staffordshire Bull Terriers and bulldogs are among the most targeted breeds by thieves.
