It is perfectly legal to go naked rambling in Doncaster
One of our members has drawn attention to your story about a naked hiker on a local footpath.
For your interest and future information, naked hiking in the UK is totally Lawful. Please add this link to your Library before writing any further stories about nudity in public www.bn.org.uk/policing.
The link takes you directly to the College of Policing website where their 2018 Guidance and instructions for Officers and Call Handlers is et out in some detail. As you will see, the policing of Naturism has changed somewhat since the days of "naked rambler" Stephen Gough. (who is not a Naturist and was in any case imprisoned for Contempt of Court, not for being naked!) It has NEVER been illegal, but now it is policed
according to Parliamentary Law rather than personal prejudice.
There are millions of Naturists in the UK and abroad who enjoy a naked walk on a warm day. They harm no one (no not even children) and are not breaking any laws.
