I see in the Thorne Times that there were at least six break-ins of shops in the middle of Thorne over the past few weeks, all these shops were under the many cameras dotted around Thorne, there are also shop windows being smashed on a regular basis and out of control shoplifting, I will ask the question again, do these cameras work?

If so, then why are the operators not informing the Police? If they do not work, then why was tax payers money wasted on them? The people of Thorne should be asking, why was our money wasted on these useless objects?

I have asked these question many times before, no one has ever replied to them! Can anyone on Thorne Council or DMBC or anyone else answer these questions?, Thorne is fast turning into a lawless town, has anyone else got anything to say about these problems or is no-one else bothered? It is obvious that the people of Thorne and the Shopkeepers deserve better.
