It's time to clean up if we want city status for Doncaster

In last week’s Free Press you ran an article stating that the council could not afford to pick up the rubbish that was being fly tipped round the borough.

Perhaps if the council accepted the rubbish that is being taken to the dump it sites instead of turning people away with rubbish still left in their cars and vans there would not be as much fly tipping going on.The council is making Doncaster looking like a third world country with it filthy footpaths and trees and hedges over growing onto them. When it rains the roads are flooded due to the non cleaning of the drains this leaves piles of debris when the pools of water eventually retreat. It’s time to start the clean up before stating we want Doncaster to become a city.
