Doncaster's unreliable bus service is not acceptable

The repetitive First Bus cry of ‘parts of our bus network have become inefficient and unreliable’ is unacceptable to Donnie people, for this means again less buses to travel on.
What can be done locally on bus cuts? What can be done locally on bus cuts?
What can be done locally on bus cuts?

“Majority of the bus network is mainly unchanged” is no use to those whose buses are disappearing or merged with other buses with reduced timetables. First Bus nationally want to get rid of its bus fleet despite having £65m profit figures. What can be done locally about the bus cuts? Well the secretive Doncaster Bus Partnership yet again seems to be silent on this latest attack on our ability to get around Doncaster by bus. With South Yorkshire Mayor Jarvis also kicking any potential franchise services into the long grass, by having a review headed by a Sheffield MP finding ‘innovative solutions’, I don’t have an easy answer. What I do know is amongst others suffering these bus cuts, more of our low paid people will have difficulties in getting to work; yet again.
