Right now, cancer care is more vital than ever befo re and must remain a priority, we can’t afford for cancer to become the ‘forgotten “c”’ during this pandemic.
Our services have never been in higher demand - we’ve experienced thousands of additional calls to our Macmillan support line.
However, Macmillan, almost entirely funded by public donations, is facing a significant drop in income.

We need to continue to fund our fabulous services across Doncaster and we can only do that with your help.
The people of Doncaster are already showing their generosity - we’ve had massive interest in our fundraising activities that people can do while in isolation, from our online gaming Game Changers, to dancing around the kitchen with Dance Moves Matter.
Importantly, our support is still here. You can visit Macmillan’s coronavirus digital hub at macmillan.org.uk/coronavirus – this new section of our website is full of guidance and advice for people affected by cancer and healthcare professionals. The pages are updated regularly with the most asked questions by people with cancer; there is information about everything from coronavirus and cancer treatment, to dealing with anxiety and financial support.
We really do need your help more than ever before to be there for people living with cancer. To donate, visit macmillan.org.uk/emergency or call 0300 1000 200.
